Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and certified Yoga Instructor to guide students through safe, engaging, and inspiring yoga sessions. The ideal candidate will create inclusive class environments that support students of all experience levels, foster mind-body awareness, and promote physical and mental well-being.Key Responsibilities:
⋙Plan and lead safe, effective yoga classes tailored to student needs and experience levels ⋙Demonstrate and cue proper alignment, modifications, and use of props ⋙Create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students ⋙Provide hands-on adjustments (if applicable and with student consent) and verbal corrections ⋙Offer mindful breathing techniques and relaxation practices to enhance student experience ⋙Arrive early to set up the space and greet participants; stay after class for questions or assistance ⋙Maintain a clean, organized studio or teaching space ⋙Stay informed on current yoga practices, trends, and continuing education opportunities ⋙Represent the studio or organization professionally, upholding its mission and values ⋙Engage with clients and support community-building efforts, workshops, and events as needed Requirements: ⋙200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification from a recognized yoga school (RYT-200)⋙Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)⋙Proven experience teaching yoga classes in group or private settings ⋙Strong interpersonal and communication skills ⋙Deep understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and safety principles ⋙Ability to adapt classes to a range of abilities and physical limitations ⋙Punctual, dependable, and self-motivatedSimply submit a ZippyApp application package which may include the Common Employment Application, Resume, and a Cover Letter.
