Job Description

Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Reports to: President, Americas | Dotted line to Global CFO

About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance & Accounting to lead financial strategy, performance, and operations across our Americas business. This executive will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial planning, and analysis (FP&A), serving as a key strategic partner to the President of the Americas and the global CFO.

Our client is experiencing strong, steady growth — with plans to double in size over the next three years. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader who can balance strategic vision with operational execution and build scalable systems that support sustainable expansion.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all accounting, FP&A, and financial operations across the Americas region.

  • Oversee P&L performance and long-term financial planning.

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals.

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting to support data-driven decisions.

  • Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and scalable processes for growth.

  • Partner with auditors, regulators, and leadership to ensure accuracy and transparency.

  • Advise senior executives on financial strategy, investments, and resource allocation.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Support business unit integration and ensure alignment across the organization.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including controllership and FP&A.

  • Proven success leading teams in both large, structured organizations and fast-growth environments.

  • Experience in both public and private companies; Private Equity experience a plus.

  • Background in regulated industries — medical device or healthcare preferred.

  • Prior Big 4 experience strongly preferred.

  • Skilled in building and scaling financial systems, improving performance, and driving strategy.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with executive presence.
