Job Description: As a UPS Store Associate at our Portsmouth, NH location, you will be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Sales and Promotion: * Promote UPS services and up sell additional products or services to customers. * Assist in implementing store promotions and marketing campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement. 4. Administrative Tasks: * Perform cash handling and POS transactions accurately. * Complete paperwork and maintain records related to shipments and transactions. 5. Store Maintenance: * Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained to uphold UPS brand standards. * Monitor and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions. Qualifications: * Previous experience in retail or customer service roles preferred. * Basic knowledge of shipping and postal services is advantageous. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Proficiency in using computers and office equipment. Education: * High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift and move packages, typically up to 50 lbs. * Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
