Do you want to make a difference in your community? We are searching for bright, motivated, individuals to work with our early learner students ages 3 - 7.

An Early Learner Assistant introduces young learners' important math, reading skills, and pencil holding skills through Kumon's engaging and colorful worksheets.

You will guide each student using the Kumon worksheet. A typical session last 20 - 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Assist students to compete math worksheets basic math skills: sequence and write numbers
• Assist students to learn to read: recognize print awarness and phonics base approach method
• Teach proper stroke order for writing letters and numbers
• Grade math & reading worksheets
• Light administrative duties

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal/verbal communication skills
• Be a natural motivator, with a high level of energy and an encouraging demeanor
• Detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and multi-task

*We will train you to guide students using the Kumon method. Experience working with kids is a plus: including teacher’s aide, day care, tutor, babysitting, coach, childhood education is a plus.

• 18+ qualified applicants will need to go through a background check.

• High School Degree
