UITS NETWORKS & SECURITY (UA-NTW-IUBLA)
REN-ISAC (Research and Education Networks Information Sharing Analysis Center) is a team of highly skilled cyber security professionals for the higher education sector. Our team provides Cyber security threat intelligence and CSIRT services for the higher education institutions in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Moreover our team strives to be ahead of the game and provide top notch cyber security services for its members.
- Program application integrations.
- Assist in automating workflows.
- Unit testing.
- CI/CD deployment.
EDUCATION
Required - Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University with an interest in business technology adaptation and marketing or informatics
Preferred - Currently enrolled in Informatics or management of information systems major or minor
Required WORK EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Python and/or React, or other JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with microservices
Preferred - Experience with technology adaptation and usability improvements
Skills Required - Strong working knowledge of, or willingness to learn in depth technology adaptation
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
