Job Description:
The On-Call Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care and applying the nursing process during after-hours and weekends. The role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and adherence to nursing standards. The nurse will manage patient care independently and assist others as needed.
Shifts Available:
- Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM (every other week).
- Sunday: 12:00 AM - 7:59 AM (overnight).
- Monday to Wednesday: 5:00 PM - 7:59 AM (overnight).
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have graduated from an accredited school.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN/LVN.
- Current state license as an RN/LVN.
- Current CPR certification.
- Provide skilled nursing services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates, and modifies care to meet goals of skilled nursing interventions.
- Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (for field visits).
