Job Description

Seeking a talented and experienced Revit/BIM Modeler to join our expanding Dallas office. Employee will assist in the technical delivery of Revit project deliverables with close collaboration with project team(s). The employee will help assist in the collaboration process throughout the project. Oversight and mentoring will be provided by management for the purpose of bringing the employee into a future management position overseeing modeling standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Revit experience.
• Working experience in Families on similar projects as listed in firm summary.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, background in Landscape Architecture or Architecture preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Revit and Family Development.
• Basic knowledge of construction and components.
• The applicant will need to have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong rendering and graphic representation skills using various 3d platforms such as Lumion, D5, Rhino, etc.
• Excellent verbal, written and decision making skills within the tasks of executing assignments for SWA Group.
• Knowledge of Dynamo for Revit a plus.

Job Requirements

• Manage construction document preparation in Revit.
• Build Revit models through coordination with Client models using backgrounds from Architect.
• Draw details in Revit.
• Check for conflicts between the structure and elements defined by other members of the design team.
• Develop custom SWA Group Revit Families.
• Assist other team members in learning modeler standards.
• Assistance with the development of renderings, diagrams, and other supporting graphics for project specific needs.
• In-person role, not remote.
