Maximus is recruiting quality-driven, clinical mental health professionals to complete assessments for the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn extra income on a flexible schedule while performing a valuable service for individuals in need.

Opportunity Overview:

Maximus is a leader in providing specialized assessment services and is partnered with the State of North Dakota to administer PASRR (Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.

PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that all individuals seeking admittance to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility are evaluated for mental illness, offered the most appropriate setting for their needs, and receive the services they need in those settings.

To conduct these assessments, we are contracting with Licensed Social Workers (LCSWs & LMSWs), Counselors (LPCs and LMFTs), and Registered Nurses (RNs) who have mental health experience with older adults and who are passionate about serving this population!

Position Details & Responsibilities:

• This is an independent contractor position conducting onsite PASRR assessments.
• Contact and schedule time to meet with the individual to be assessed.
• Review all supporting documentation and available records.
• Complete the assessment at the individual's current location, typically in a hospital or nursing home.
• Complete and return assessment within 48 hours of accepting the referral.
• Assessments can be accepted or declined in accordance with your schedule.
• Assessments will be completed within your community or surrounding communities. There is no office to report to.
• Compensation is per completed assessment.

We are seeking to expand our network of professionals in the following areas:

• Bismarck
• Fargo
• Grand Forks
• Jamestown
• Minot

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be licensed in the State of North Dakota as a LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or RN.
• Two years of clinical experience in behavioral health (this should be direct clinical experience with adults).
• 1 year of geriatric experience
• Must be conflict of interest free, which includes no employment with a nursing facility or psychiatric facility providing services to the Under 21 population.
