Salem Stones is a fast-growing Granite Memorial distributor is looking for a Production Associate with a desire to complete tasks in all aspects of the department, including running a sandblast machine, layout stencil, and general production. We are looking for a hard-working individual with a positive attitude, who takes initiative, and possesses an eagerness to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply stencils and designs to monument and removing stencil from areas for Sandblast
• Operate sandblast equipment to blast design and lettering into granite monument
• Litho-paint sandblasted design and lettering elements in granite, remove stencil & wash granite monument for final inspection and shipment.
• Push monuments along conveyors and in and out of sandblast booths
• Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines

Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work in a fast paced, manufacturing work environment. High level of attention to detail required. Artistic skills a plus. Sandblast experience a plus. Experience with a crane and/or forklift a plus.

  Work Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday with overtime opportunities

Compensation: Up to $20/hour
