Job Description

Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services, health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Waialae Country Club is recognized as a Platinum Club of America, Honorable Mention Platinum Club of the World and is designated as a Distinguished Club with ELITE status by BoardRoom Magazine.

Position: Parking Attendant
Status: Full-Time (30+ hours per week)
Department: Parking
Reports to: Director of Facilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Greets and acknowledges members/guests in a warm and friendly member upon arrival/departure.
• Directs vehicles to parking spaces and assists with traffic flow in the parking lot.
• Moves double-parked vehicles.
• Assists members and guests with loading and unloading golf bags.
• Monitors parking area to prevent unauthorized entry and parking.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to move/lift up to 40 pounds; stand/walk for extended periods; and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
