About the Company:

Wayfinder Agency is a performance-driven digital marketing agency specializing in helping e-commerce brands, particularly in the tabletop gaming industry, scale profitably through paid media. We partner with a diverse range of clients, including indie creators, 8-figure brands, and select B2B and B2C software companies. Entirely remote, our team is collaborative, agile, and deeply committed to driving measurable growth for the brands we support.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paid Media Specialist with deep expertise in managing and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, and Amazon Ads. This role will be instrumental in driving performance for our e-commerce clients, especially those in the tabletop gaming space, by taking ownership of paid media strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, has strong attention to detail, and communicates clearly with both internal teams and clients. You’ll play a key role in shaping campaign strategy, collaborating with creative teams, and continuously testing to improve results.

This is a Full-Time, remote role .

We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist specifically with these requirements:

  • Advanced experience running paid media campaigns on:
    • Facebook/Meta Ads (well-versed in scaling campaigns).
    • Google Ads (including Performance Max, Shopping, and YouTube campaigns).
    • Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display).
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce advertising strategy, funnel optimization, and DTC customer journeys.
  • Experience working with e-commerce brands with ad budgets exceeding $25K/month.
  • Proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Merchant Center, and conversion tracking.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, including handling integrations and generating performance reports.
  • Exceptional attention to detail – able to catch small issues before they become big problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain strategies and performance to both internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborative team player who works well with account managers, designers, and strategists.
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and test new ideas independently.
  • Adaptability to shifting ad trends and platform updates.
  • Open to feedback, continuously learning, and confident without ego.
  • Bonus: Passion or familiarity with tabletop games, board games, TTRPGs, or Kickstarter campaigns.

Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):

  • Plan, build, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google, Facebook/Meta, and Amazon.
  • Analyze campaign performance using KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, LTV, and conversion rate, and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and account teams to improve ad creatives, messaging, and landing page performance.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies, including A/B tests, audience segmentation, creative variations, and landing page optimization.
  • Prepare clear and actionable performance reports and insights for internal teams and clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends and platform updates—especially within Google, Meta, and Amazon—and implement best practices accordingly.
  • Support or mentor junior media buyers and help QA other accounts when needed.
  • Participate in strategy calls to help shape direction based on product lifecycles, seasonality, and client goals.

Growth Opportunities/Perks:

  • Ability to grow into a Lead Media Buyer role across multiple accounts, with greater ownership of campaign strategy.
  • Opportunity to step into a Performance Marketing Account Manager position, working directly with clients and leading strategic planning.
  • Option to specialize as a Channel Expert (Google, Meta, or Amazon) and lead best practices across the agency.
  • Potential to take on mentorship responsibilities, including training junior media buyers and supporting QA across teams.
  • Fully remote role with flexible scheduling – we operate async and prioritize performance over presence.
  • 12 days of paid time off annually, with flexible holiday swapping based on your region or culture.
  • Access to mental health and sick days – your well-being matters.
  • Paid training and certifications – we invest in your professional development with ongoing learning opportunities.
  • A tech stipend to ensure you have the tools you need to do your best work.
  • Join a collaborative, fast-moving team passionate about e-commerce, gaming, and results-driven marketing.

You’re detail-oriented.
