Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Assist the oral surgeon during medical procedures. + Assist in preparation and set-up of for surgical procedures in the office and hospital operating rooms. + Monitor patients and assists with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures in hospital and outpatient office settings. + Discuss post-operative instructions for care and management with the patient. Relay post-operative complications/questions to surgeon. + Maintain surgical equipment. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + One or more of the following required: + Dental Anest Asst Natl Cert credentialed from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. + Dental Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
