Nurse Manager of Outpatient Surgery

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee our Outpatient Surgery department at Hudson Manpower in the Healthcare division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring quality patient care, and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising nursing staff and coordinating patient care

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers

  • Participating in staff training and development

Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Maintains 24-hour responsibility for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit.

  • The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which support the safe and efficient delivery of care.

  • The Manager assists the Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures, and in the financial management of the unit.

What qualifications you will need:

  • 2+ years of recent acute care leadership Surgical Services experience required with 3-5 years of experience as a staff nurse in the operating room or other surgical area.

  • BSN required.

  • Prior management experience preferred or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role.

  • Cardiovascular experience preferred

  • TX RN License or RN Compact State License.

  • BLS from approved HCA vendor.

  • ACLS from approved HCA vendor. If currently have ACLS it must be maintained; if not, it must be obtained within 6 months of hire and then maintained.

  • PALS from approved HCA vendor. If currently have PALS it must be maintained; if not, it must be obtained within 6 months of hire and then maintained.
