About The Role
Brighton Health Plan Solutions is looking for a detail‐oriented, analytical person to support Network, Employer and Plan Sponsor Health Care strategy. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with an ability to communicate effectively, will be able to work on several different projects under specific timeframes, and will work well in a team environment. Attention to small details and a strong inquisitive mindset will aid in the success for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and manage provider disruption reports, projecting penetration and savings amounts for prospective customers
• Responsible for prospective client GeoAccess mapping for various network offerings
• Conduct analysis specific to the medical economics underlying provider financial arrangements in support of new business, client and provider retention efforts
• Provide analytical support to Hospital & Provider Contracting during negotiations
• Oversee various standardized and ad hoc reporting needs across several departments
• Manage lists of particular providers, by certain regions and specialties, and cost effectiveness of those providers and facilities to our customers
• Create and maintain analytical models which provide support to the team
• Publish and maintain monthly calendar of reports
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in mathematics, finance or related field
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Management Studio
• Experience with financial reporting and financial modeling
• Strong analytic and technical skills
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize several concurrent projects under tight timeframes
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Flexible team player understanding the value of peer review
• Familiar with Quest Analytics GeoAccess Software preferred
