Part-Time Nanny | Westport, CT Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live-Out | Occasional Weekend Help Preferred

$35-$40/HR based on experience

A warm and loving family in Westport  is seeking a nurturing and experienced  part-time nanny to care for their two young children—a 3-year-old energetic  boy and a sweet, easygoing 1-year-old girl.

About the Children:

• Boy (age 3 in August) : Joyful, active, and affectionate. Loves the outdoors, biking, swimming, painting, reading, and will be attending preschool five mornings a week.
• Girl (age 1 in August) : Happy, mellow, and on the move—currently crawling and gearing up for her first steps! She enjoys music class and swimming lessons and takes two naps per day.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, kind, and enthusiastic
• Experienced with both infants and toddlers
• Reliable and proactive
• Capable of contributing to a calm, joyful, and structured environment
• Willing to assist with light household tasks and simple family cooking

Household:

• Two friendly cockapoos (no pet care required)
• Stay-at-home parent present
• Primary focus is childcare, but help with light housekeeping and occasional meal prep is appreciated.
• The family has a weekly housekeeper.

Position Includes:

• Paid holidays and sick days
• Hourly rate: TBD based on experience
• Driving required (family car can be provided)

Responsibilities:

• Engaging, age-appropriate play and activities
• Outdoor time and local outings
• Preschool pick-up
• Naps and routines
• Tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and basic meal prep
