JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer L3 - DEFENSE

LOCATION: Berkeley, MO

PAY RATE: $68.50/hour

Summary:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems

• Ensure production readiness by identifying risks, optimizing workflows, and improving operational efficiency

• Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, enhancing quality, and ensuring on-time product delivery

• Use data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturability and assembly input

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited program

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or relevant experience with a PhD

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (B.S. or higher)

• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

• Familiarity with 3D model-based instruction

• Experience with tools/software such as IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printing, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, and Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

• ABET accreditation is preferred but not required for U.S. candidates
