Role Summary:
We are seeking a Mandarin speaking Office Assistant to support our managers, employees, and customers while learning and utilizing the 2020 Design Live software (no prior experience required, training provided). Work will generally be conducted in Mandarin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone on OPT/F1 status, and we are open to sponsorship for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and use 2020 Design Live to assist with creating custom cabinetry designs (training provided)
- Interact with customers to address questions, schedule meetings, and provide updates
- Provide administrative support to managers and employees with daily office tasks
- Assist with order processing, invoicing, and documentation
- Manage correspondence via email, phone, and in-person meetings
- Maintain organized records and documentation for ongoing projects
- Other general office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Fluent Mandarin communication skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
- Willingness to learn new software (2020 Design Live)
- OPT/F1 status applicants are welcome, and sponsorship will be considered
Preferred Qualities:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field (Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, etc. preferred)
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Experience in customer service or office administration
- Interest in interior design, cabinetry, or construction is a plus
