POSITION SUMMARY:

At LocalVR, we are looking for a Home Inspector who shares our dedication to excellence in property management with a personal touch. As our Home Inspector, your days will be spent traveling between our stunning properties in the Park City area ensuring they each meet our high standards before and after a guest stays. 

Your tasks will involve meticulously assessing each property and handling minor repairs as needed. You will use industry-leading technology to keep in touch with the team, making coordinating solutions to any issues you find easy. As part of our team, your insights will contribute to our continuous improvement and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Your ability to manage, organize, and report on the day's tasks will be critical to the team’s success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct detailed and routine inspections of each vacation rental property to ensure they meet the company’s cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Identify and report any structural, functional, or aesthetic issues that could impact the guest experience. 
  • Ensure all safety devices, like smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and security systems, are in place and functional. 
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely repair and maintenance work. 
  • Keep detailed records of all inspections, including photographs where necessary.
  • Use guest feedback to make recommendations for future improvements. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Home Maintenance Skills - an assessment will be performed during the interview
  • Basic technical skills using a smartphone and web applications. 
  • High school or equivalent degree is required 
  • 1 year of property management experience is preferred 
  • 1 year of customer service is preferred 
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to commute to our properties

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25 -$33 per hour based on experience and achievement
