Job Title: GIS Developer - ArcGIS Survey123 Specialist

Duration: 12 Months

*40 hours per week – can be extended & work on demand thereafter*

Job Description:

Seeking a skilled GIS Developer with expertise in ArcGIS Survey123 to undertake a project for our client in the water utility sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating approximately 200 advanced ArcGIS Survey123 surveys tailored to collect well volumetric data at various water utility locations. Additionally, custom report templates must be developed for each of the 200 locations to capture and present the volumetric data effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client and project stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives for the collection and reporting of water volumetric data.
  
• Develop approximately 200 advanced ArcGIS Survey123 surveys customized to collect specific volumetric data at each water utility location.
  
• Configure survey questions, logic, constraints, and relevant parameters to ensure accurate data capture.
  
• Implement complex calculations and validation rules within Survey123 forms to maintain data integrity.
  
• Design and create custom report templates using Mustache templating language to generate location-specific reports capturing volumetric data collected from the surveys.
  
• Customize report layouts, styles, and elements to meet client specifications and presentation requirements.
  
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of surveys and report templates to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  
• Provide training and support to end-users on survey data collection procedures and report generation processes.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field, or a combination of relevant experience and certifications.
  
• Extensive experience in developing advanced surveys using ArcGIS Survey123, including customization of forms, calculations, and validation rules.
  
• Proficiency in Mustache templating language for creating custom report templates within Survey123.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript for integrating Survey123 with web applications or other systems would be highly beneficial.
  
• Strong understanding of water utility operations and well volumetric data collection processes.
  
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple surveys simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and project stakeholders.
  
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.
  
• Prior experience working on GIS projects in the water utility sector would be advantageous.
