**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Facilities Coordinator, you will support and oversee maintenance coordination on a 5-building industrial campus spanning 170,000 square feet, dedicated to the repair and manufacture of jet engine parts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a commitment to ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
+ Manage day-to-day scheduling and coordination of contractors for various services.
+ Communicate effectively with vendors to manage service delivery and ensure timely completion of tasks.
+ Ensure all services are completed by vendors and close out associated work orders and tickets.
+ Schedule vendors for onsite services and preventative maintenance with technicians.
+ Verify that all vendors adhere to OSHA/EHS guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
+ Coordinate all facilities maintenance services within the facility.
+ Spend a portion of time at a desk for administrative tasks and a majority of time walking around the site to oversee operations and inspect facilities.
+ Acknowledge all client inquiries and collect work orders.
+ Collect information reports to find out performance and progress status.
+ Conduct thorough documentation and data entry for all facilities-related activities.
+ Perform various administrative duties to support the facilities department.
+ File work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
+ Follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.
+ Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You'll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
+ Experience with vendor and contractor management.
+ Knowledge of EHS safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
+ Experience in Facilities Maintenance within the industrial sector.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
