MalaceHR is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and solid experience working with electrical systems in industrial or commercial environments.
Install, inspect, test, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
Measure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Maintain and organize tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and supplies.
Perform semi-skilled and unskilled duties related to electrical installations and repairs.
Disassemble malfunctioning electrical components, replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble equipment.
Examine equipment for loose connections and damaged insulation; perform necessary corrections using hand tools.
Adhere to all safety procedures, codes, and regulations.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic understanding of electrical machines and tools, including design, repair, and maintenance.
Familiarity with technical drawings, blueprints, and models used in electrical work.
Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical degree or relevant certification in electrical work strongly preferred.
2â4 years of hands-on experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
Valid electrician license (where applicable) is a plus.
May involve exposure to varying work conditions including noise, heat, cold, or confined spaces.
Must be able to lift and carry equipment and tools, and stand or kneel for extended periods.
