Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical systems, as well as experience in construction environments.
Duties
- Operate various types of drilling equipment, including excavators, skid steers, water trucks, and various machinery.
- Conduct horizontal drilling operations while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient pipeline installation and maintenance.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Assist in the transportation of materials using commercial driving skills when necessary.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks on the job site.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation with a focus on drilling machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to drilling operations and equipment maintenance.
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques and pipeline installation.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in construction environments.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
