Director of Emergency Services - Lead a Dynamic ED Team

We're seeking an experienced, dynamic Director of Emergency Services to lead our Emergency Department operations. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of emergency care delivery, ensuring clinical excellence while driving strategic growth and operational efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing emergency services team while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
• Drive operational excellence through strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Implement and monitor quality metrics and patient satisfaction initiatives
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice
• Build and maintain strong relationships with interdepartmental leaders and stakeholders
• Lead recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 2+ years recent experience as ED Director or 3-5 years as ED Manager
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and BLS
• Demonstrated leadership experience in emergency medicine
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellence in team building and staff development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
