Job Description

Prestigious Century City law firm seeks a dynamic and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its trial-heavy team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex commercial disputes and litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property disputes, and employment litigation.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and co-counsel to develop case strategy and theories.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
• Conduct discovery and e-discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Stay current on developments in commercial law and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in California.
• Four (4)+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law and related regulations.
• Experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to clients.

Salary:

$245,000 - $300,000 commensurate with your experience and qualifications
