Cedar Park Med is hiring Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) in Philadelphia, PA. We're looking for dedicated CMAs to provide medical support in a secure correctional facility. This is a great opportunity to use your skills in a meaningful way while working in a structured, professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs. Work with nursing staff to provide daily medical support to inmates. Escort inmates to medical appointments and maintain accurate records. Ensure infection control and cleanliness in the facility. Perform physical tasks, including lifting and repositioning as needed. Requirements: Must have attended a school to be a Medical Assistant and possess a diploma from that school. CMA certification can also be accepted. Current BLS certification (required). Minimum 1 year of experience as a CMA; correctional or psychiatric facility experience preferred. Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and ability to work safely in a correctional setting. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
