Our client is seeking Certified Addiction Counselor to work in Washington, DC.

CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
*Collaborate with client in the formulation of an Individual Recovery Plan that is reviewed and modified with clients on a regular basis
*Provide outreach, case management, counseling, advocacy, and other needed services to clients in any environment including: the streets, shelters, jails, hospitals, apartments, office etc. 80 percent of contact with the clients is in the field
*Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports and complete other program documentation( ex: progress notes, incident reports, on-call logs, letters and psychosocial assessments)
*Lead groups, workshops, and in-service meetings on topics relevant to identified areas of client need
*Perform related work as assigned

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
DC Licensure as a Certified Addiction Specialist
Minimum of one year experience in social services, supported housing, or with persons with disabilities
Driver's License and vehicle required
Excellent communication, writing and computer skills
Covid 19 Vaccination
