Job Description
**Job Title: Carpenter**
Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Some Saturdays may be required depending on project timelines and workload. We are looking for a 3+ year carpenter to join our team. The projects will revolve mainly around rough wood framing for a church project. You will be required to travel 30 miles for certain jobs. This position will pay $27 - $35 an hour for the most tenured applicants. Interviews will be held virtually and this role can start immediately after passing our compliance check.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist the site superintendent with various tasks.
+ Patch holes in drywall.
+ Perform light carpentry work.
+ Conduct site clean-up when necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ **General labor** experience.
+ **Construction** and carpentry skills.
+ Proficiency with **hand tools** and **power tools** .
+ Ability to perform drywall tasks.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Capability to work with limited supervision.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar **construction** role.
+ Open to candidates with the right mindset willing to learn.
+ Ability to operate **basic hand** and **power tools** with limited training.

**Work Environment**
The skilled laborer will work in a church building alongside another team member managing the project. The dress code includes steel-toed boots and proper PPE at all times. As the church remains open during the project, maintaining a respectful and presentable demeanor is essential.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
